The Samaritan Center

The Samaritan Center for Counseling and Pastoral Care has been saving lives, healing emotional wounds and giving hope to individuals and families for over 40 years. The Center’s mission is to improve the mental, physical, and spiritual health of children and families in Central Texas. We provide professional counseling, integrative medicine, and wellness education that are accessible and affordable for all, especially vulnerable populations such as uninsured or underinsured low-income families, and veterans struggling with the emotional wounds of war. The Samaritan Center strives to help everyone, regardless of ability to pay.

Our Programs

Youth & Family Counseling and Education
Serves individuals, couples, families and groups.

Serves veterans, service members and military families who experience the emotional wounds of war.

Integrative Medicine
Acupuncture, biofeedback, massage therapy, herbal medicine, tai chi, yoga, biofeedback, and nutrition.

Military & Veteran Peer Network
Connecting Texas service members & their families with local veteran volunteer peers.

The use of two-way video equipment to connect our clients in need of medication with a psychiatric provider.
